Honestly with every single episode I watch, I think I love Agents of Shield even more. I just watched 4.09 (I’m behind 7 episodes because of being in the UK) and I spontaneously threw up my hands once and went “Urk I love this show!” and I was on the edge of my seat, and groaning everytime it cut to commercial. Seriously, it is going from strength to strength. Unfortunately the ratings don’t agree so I’m crossing my fingers and hoping like mad it gets renewed.

If it doesn’t and Fitzsimmons don’t get a happy ending, then I swear I’m writing them one. Why do I always pick the OTP’s that hurt me? Stop tearing Fitz and Simmons apart! Even Fitz thinks that the cosmos has it out for them, Simmons told him to stop being silly of course but I think he has a point. Also, I don’t know if I ship May or Coulson or not, but I definitely like them as friends. Stop replacing May and then having cute bonding moments! It’s sad.

Sorry I just had to get that out of my system. I really love this show and like I said I swear I love it even more everytime I watch it. Please, please, please let there be a season five. I’m googling every day to see if it’s announced. ABC you are killing me here!

There was no Rumple or Belle and very little Gideon in tonight’s episode. However, it was a Regina-centric and she is my second favorite character. I seriously love her. Anyway I will probably go on a little bit, because I have a lot of feelings about this episode, but first does anyone know any Regina gifmakers? I feel the need for a parallel between Regina saying she doesn’t regret her choice in last nights episode, with when Regina said she had no regrets because her life led her to Henry back in Neverland.

Some random thoughts for the morning to complete my post spam. Sorry I’ve been off tumblr since Saturday, add in the new episode, and I had to catch up.

1) Lana Parrilla is an amazing actress and should win all the awards. I’ve seen the episode, and I have notes, and I will be typing up my review later today 🙂

2) I’ve somehow screwed up my wordpress installation so I can’t delete spam user accounts from the dashboard anymore. Honestly why do spammers even do that? Nobody reads that blog, it’s password protected /facepalm.

3) I did a thing yesterday! So for once I’m actually going to say something not TV related because it’s a big thing for me. I never do anything, mostly because I’m too scared and also you know money, but yesterday I actually went to London. I went to The Crystal Maze experience and it was actually really good, a very accurate replication of the show. I would recommend. It is pricey but they didn’t half-ass it, the zones and tasks are all properly made, complete with climbing ladders, crawling through tunnels and “start the fans” with grabbing the tickets in the dome at the end. Best of all (for me) I managed to not have a panic attack, or pass out, even on the trains.

I did come close when this guy came along the carriage, acting all serious and started his sentence with “I don’t want to cause anyone distress” cue instant adrenaline rush as a 101 nightmare scenarios come into my head. Turned out he just wanted money, but yikes especially given the events of the week, so damn scary. Honestly I loathe the trains, I thought they were busy but turns out that was near deserted for London, I just can’t handle crowds. The stations are madness, everyone going in a million different directions and there are a gazillion platforms. I’m just grateful we stuck to the overground. The last time I went on the tube was a decade ago. I thought I was going to die and vowed never to go back. Until yesterday that was the last time I went to London.

So yeah Crystal Maze thing was good, and my appreciation for commuters who have to deal with that all the time is even higher, and I already had tremendous respect.

4) Due to yesterdays adventure I wrote nothing all weekend, so I should kinda get on that today as I don’t have anything to post – again.

I realized when I starting writing my GoldenLace fic for next months Monthly Rumbelling that I didn’t have a background. I’d penciled in ‘GoldenLace established’ and that was it. So what did I do? I made it a oneshot set in the future of a verse for a fic I haven’t written yet.

I wish I could say this was the first time but *looks at masterlist* nope apparently writing oneshots in incomplete/non-existent except in my head verses is a thing that I do. Ooops?

Alas, your Zookeeper has not seen Lachlan in action. *sighs* Although, I have been meaning to try something with him…

I have a Lachbelle WIP at the moment, which is being neglected horribly. I also have an idea for a Lachacy which I might attempt to have finished for Rumbelle Order in the Court. I don’t know if you saw the post that got reblogged around the fandom a little while ago. It said something along the lines of “the moment you’ve read all the fics and think ‘somebody should write more’ and then go ‘oh shit that somebody is me’” and that’s kinda what it’s like with Lachlan.

Well what it’s like probably with anyelle in general, there’s never enough so I fully support the writing of more! Seriously look at that face, and how can you not give him a Belle or a Lacey? So yes do try something with him! I will shamelessly enable you 🙂

It’s your Zookeeper here to ask about a Bobby of another breed: Is California Solo a movie tribute to the wonder that is Robert Carlyle in white shirts and feathery floof? Because, like, if so, mission accomplished.

Heya *waves* you pretty much have that right. California Solo is a slice of life film, so it’s very much about Lachlan and that’s it really. RC is in practically every frame. He does dress in a white shirt a fair bit, there’s the white t-shirt above and then the white shirt when he plays guitar and sings.

He often pairs it with a jacket.

Well I just finished my third fic for Rumbelle Order in the Court thanks to @worryinglyinnocent. I wrote myself into a corner, and thanks to them my plot got fixed 🙂 Anyway, I still have two more ideas for that event, but the Divorce and Escorts one I’m never going to finish because it could be novel length. The other one is Lachacy Community Service which is a possibility but I’m not feeling that idea today.

However, looking at my list now and knowing I can write anything without guilt (ok there is a fair amount of guilt) I’m thinking perhaps my GoldenLace idea for next months smut Monthly Rumbelling prompt, because apparently writing things I can post isn’t a thing anymore.

Seriously, I have five finished fics and nothing to post, but hey why not make it six? At least I’m writing again, or at least I am today, the experiment lasts a week for a reason – I suck at consistency. Anyway, we have partial success so let’s go with that 🙂

@rumbellefitnessclub is anybody still doing this?

I got badly out of routine towards the end of last year and I’ve still not properly got back into it. It’s the same with writing really or indeed my entire life. However, today I discovered I can set up my dance mat on my PS2 in my room, I didn’t think there was enough space, so if I have the willpower I now have an option to exercise without dragging myself to the gym of a morning.

At least I’m assuming it makes for exercise. Anything that makes me sweat that much, can’t be bad for me and it’s better than nothing. That’s my theory anyway. I made up a few CD’s *cough* eight? years ago, merlin I’m old, and I’ve rediscovered which was the hardest disc. Note to self don’t attempt Mix Two if I’m tired yikes.

Bodies are weird things. The scales say I’ve only lost a stone since Christmas, well that kinda happened in January and hasn’t budged in ages. The moment I started cooking for myself, those few pounds just went no effort required. However, no matter what I do now food-wise, the scales are stuck, and I’m still 3 stone overweight according to BMI – being short sucks. My problem has never been food really, it’s always been laziness. Hence my side-eyeing exercise again.

Anyway I’m saying it’s weird because I don’t have to unbutton my trousers anymore and I had to get a belt. You’d think it wouldn’t really make that much of a difference. Mind you I’ve always found finding clothes to fit near impossible because my waist is completely out of proportion with my butt/thighs. Everything is always far too big on the waist if it fits elsewhere. Sorry, for that minor moan but it’s an ongoing frustration.

Anyway, I’m going to shut up now. I just wondered if any of you guys were still battling the demon monster of exercise. I’d like to hear how you guys are getting on and do cheering for you or sympathizing, whichever is needed 🙂

Oops – I didn’t mean to imply you couldn’t love both canon and fanon Rumbelle- sometimes it just seems as if most only love fanon (not that there’s anything wrong with that). I might be sensitive because I don’t lose myself in fan fic in general although I do love it and I love that it allows Rumbelle to continue after the show.

There’s nothing wrong with just enjoying what’s on screen and not engaging with it further. But if I love something, I want to continue to engage with it past what’s on my screen on Sundays. And we’re discussing the hypothetical end of canon. If the show got a cancellation announcement tomorrow, there would be no more new canon. So what does the fandom do after that? Do we continue reblogging the same finite amount of gifs or do we create more for these characters whether that’s through art or fic or meta or whatever. I just feel like for a fandom to exist after a show or book or movie series ends, you have to keep creating.

Stargate SG1 has been cancelled for a decade but there’s still several very dedicated gifmakers for it on tumblr, that bring out new sets frequently. I’m only on the edges of that fandom so I don’t know much, but I do know they have weekly rewatches of the show and awards every year for fanart/fanfic.

So yeah I think fandom can keep creating, and keep existing. I hope that happens for Rumbelle, I don’t see why it can’t if enough of us want it.
