the Star Wars/OUAT fusion – what will things be like for the characters in 10 years?

No Spoilers? I know, that’s a terrible answer. It’s just I’m pretty certain that I’m going to add to this verse at some point, I already have a prompt, and I don’t want to ruin all suspense. However, I guess I can be vague.

Belle and Gold are going to be married, or basically married even if it’s not registered throughout the galaxy. I can’t decide whether they have children of their own or not but they are definitely going to be parents.

At some point within those 10 years: Regina will discover a part of herself she thought she’d lost forever, Emma will fulfill her destiny in a surprising way, Bae’s going to develop a personal interest in cybernetics.

After 10 years? Well it’s not much of a spoiler to say that the Republic will be back in control of the galaxy, and the Sith Lord is defeated. I don’t particularly want to say where they are/what they are doing because spoilers. However, I will say that Henry has quite a following on the Holonet for his truthful accurate reporting. He could have followed in the footsteps of one of his three parents but he chose his own, weaving words to touch the hearts of billions.

*blink* Okay Now I’m curious as to how/why Henry has three parents in this world. I love that you’ll continue this, can’t wait!

Henry has three parents because Bae + Emma + Regina make three. Yeah I could have just gone for Swanfire but Regina is such an important part of Henry’s life, she is his mom and it seems wrong to erase that if I can make it work within the AU.

Regina helped Emma hide her pregnancy, Bae was like the stay at home dad because as Jedi Emma and Regina couldn’t be there a lot of the time. Whenever Emma went to see Henry, then Regina was at her side. So Regina was very much part of the family and while she could have just been an Aunt, or mommy’s friend, I think Henry probably innocently called her mom once when he was a toddler, not really understanding.

I mean think about it, from Henry’s perspective two women showed up every now and then. They loved him, they took care of him, and so if Emma was his mom, then so was Regina in child logic. I know it’s probably too fluffy for words, but I think that much to Regina’s surprise, Bae and Emma agreed that was accurate. Maybe I’ll have to fic it heh 🙂

Synopsis: The clone wars are in full swing. Darkness is casting a shadow over the galaxy, and only the Jedi’s faith in the force keeps them from despair. It is a dark time for the Republic. Jedi Knight Belle French is about to go into battle on Balmorra, when her instincts lead her away from the war, towards her former Master – Rum Gold.

Note: Happy Birthday @mariequitecontrarie! I wanted to write you something because you are a lovely person and deserve nice things. I hope this is a nice thing. Anyway, I wanted it to be special for you, and something you would like, so I did some snooping around your blog. I discovered your favorite movie was Return of the Jedi, so here’s some Star Wars Rumbelle style.

It’s just a short fic, but like all my verses this is open to prompts, so if you/anyone want more than just ask. I really hope you like it and happy birthday! 🙂

This is great! I don’t think I’ve seen a SW/OUAT fusion fic in forever, so I really enjoyed it. To see the Gold family through Belle’s eyes was fun. I especially liked that, as open-minded s she seems to be, it still took her time to even describe Emma as ‘motherly’. lol. Really looking forward to see how this war will go, when the Savior is apparently not following Jedi directive. (also, loved that you made Gaston a traitor. *ggg*) Really loved all of this!

I’m really glad you liked it! I’ve never actually read a SW/Once fusion, so if you have links I wouldn’t mind taking a look. Heh to be fair to Emma, I don’t think Belle’s reticence was because Emma wasn’t motherly, just because Belle had a lot thrown at her inside of an hour and Jedi aren’t supposed to have attachments. So Belle was probably trying to find another explanation.

You know this is just a oneshot at the moment right? I’m open to continuing it but I have no concrete plans. If I did continue it, then the war would go very differently because obviously Emma isn’t the Sith Lord’s new apprentice. Although can you imagine? That would be a new way to do the Dark Swan. Hmm who do you think the Sith Lord is? Any guesses? 🙂

Sometimes writing is like having an enormous lake in your head, and you want to get it out of your head and into a proper place for a lake so other people can come and go swimming and ride jet skis and stuff, except all you have to move the lake is a teaspoon. This is it exactly. I worked out once that even if I wrote my theoretical best word count every single day it would take years for me to write all my ideas. It’s neverending which is sometimes cool but mostly torturous. Quite demoralising really because I want to be done and I never will be.

Writing is so weird! Yesterday when I had my writing time, I had no distractions and still barely wrote anything. Today, I decided to use my dancemat as it gets me moving at least even if I remain unsure whether it’s proper exercise. In between dances I wrote down a few sentences and I just hit recount, and I wrote 4x what I did yesterday, and I’m all sweaty. Like seriously?

Also I want to know why if I have a good writing day, the next day I write next to nothing therefore cancelling out the good day. How does that make sense? You know what I think somebody should do – write up the cosmic laws of the writer. Like the moment you have time to write, you want to do anything but write. Or when you have a deadline on Project A, all your brain wants to do is Project B. Or when you have no time to write that is when the brain comes up with a gazillion ideas. Stuff like that.

Ugh tumblr’s mobile app has always been pretty horrendous. However, it had one redeeming feature. It alphabetically sorted the blogs I follow so I could very easily manually scroll my favorite blogs. Which was helpful because for some reason putting certain blogs into the tumblr search bar on the PC doesn’t work, so I need to find their name to click on elsewhere. Just looking on my phone for those couple of blogs was actually easier.

Then … THEN tumblr decided this was clearly too good and so removed that feature in the recent update. Why? Just why? So this morning I’m looking on the app, I see a mutual pop up in my feed and decide to look at their whole blog. Big, big mistake. I have no idea if they will have been spammed with “still-searching47 is now following you” as I clicked and unfollowed (seriously why put that link there??? it’s right next to their name!) and then panic followed with frantic tapping.

I have to say stupid o’clock or not, it made me instantly get out of bed to boot the PC, so I could triple check I’m still following them because stupid mobile app! Honestly I just wanted to make sure I hadn’t missed any of their posts. Why tumblr, just why?

Random thought of the day. Granny was still alive in the Real or Not Real? Nobody Knows wish!world. I mean it’s not real but is somehow persisting which makes it look kinda real. Anyway, Marco/Geppetto was dead so clearly the writers were aware about the aging process but Granny looked the same.

Answer – werewolf!

I mean Granny never had a red cloak, we only have her word that she doesn’t change anymore. What if she’s like Colonel Ives and stays young and healthy because on full moons she feeds.

Either that or Granny is Storybrooke’s answer to Professor McGonagall and when death came for her, Granny looked down her glasses, grabbed her crossbow and death apologized and left. It’s a theory 🙂

Once Upon a Time: Word Crawl

I’ve linked this here before but I just noticed that you need to be signed into the NaNo site to view the messageboard now. So I’m going to post it directly. If you don’t know what a word crawl is, basically it’s just a way of making a word count goal feel more manageable by chopping it into smaller pieces.

I kept this very generic because I didn’t want to tailor it to any characters/ships because I posted it on the main NaNo board originally. So this is for everyone, no matter who your favorite character is 🙂 Hope someone finds it helpful!

Oh wow.

@of-princes-and-savages I just read your anti-Hook fic and I was making a comment on AO3 and this thought popped into my head “the second Hook left, they started thinking, so it’s like they are under a spell from being around him” and boom it came to me.

3.03 Irresistible was an episode of Stargate: Atlantis. SGA-1 gate to this world and they are mystified because this man has everyone singing his praises and they can’t work out why. However, after spending time with him the team start saying how amazing he is. This guy gets everything he wants, people do anything he asks them. The only one not affected is Shepherd because he has a cold. Turns out this guy made a drug, and put it in his aftershave.

When he leaves his world for Atlantis then the locals go through withdrawal. They are beside themselves without him. However, after another day without him the drug wears off and they regain their right minds. When they face him again it’s not pretty because he took serious advantage of them.

Now I don’t think for one second that Hook actually has this kind of racket going on but it makes for an excellent explanation in crack fics 🙂

I have only two OTPs one doesn’t have really any material and the other only has given us scraps of a very painful pairing but both are my life

I’m really curious now. What are your OTP’s? You know I was only kidding when I said that I picked OTP’s that hurt me. I don’t think anyone actually picks their OTP’s. We don’t choose what we see that grabs us. OTP’s pick us and make us love them whether we want to or not.

So yeah I guess I am fortunate that I’ve only fallen for OTP’s that are canon, so there is a lot of material to work with. I hope that you have, or can find, at least one person that shares your ship. It’s lonely when there’s nobody to talk with, and to bounce enthusiastically off, when it comes to favorite things.
