There are all these gifsets on my dash of that heartbreaking moment where Belle is in the hospital and throws the chipped cup and smashes it.

That reminded me of when I first saw that episode, my jaw just dropped. I don’t think I’ve been as gobsmacked by the sheer insanity of characters actions since I watched the SGU episode Divided. That was pretty mind-boggling just “why??” in parts too.

I would love to write a fix-it fic of “In the name of the brother” where everyone actually utilizes some common sense, especially in dealing with Belle.

I mean she’s upset and confused and they are just dragging her around, telling her she’s crazy for what she saw. Nobody takes the time to explain what happened, or to explain anything. Plus how they all treated Gold – separating him from Belle. I suppose it’s no surprise, they were just showing what they truly thought of him even back then. However, it just made the situation 10x worse.

I’m approaching this episode in my re-watch. I actually began the re-watch during the hiatus, I stopped it for 5B and haven’t restarted it – oops. I think I got to the 5th episode – The Doctor. Although I might have watched that, I forget to be honest. This show has got into my head, I remember it so clearly, that it’s hard to remember what I’ve watched twice and what I’ve only seen just the once.

When I get to it, I might write a small oneshot. I just want them to show Belle a little bit of respect. Just slow it down and actually talk to her. She looked so bewildered and scared and it was so unnecessary.

1. The latest Olympic medal ceremony where the USA won gold. The Star Spangled Banner gets me every time. 
2. Okay so in my town, there’s this one homeless man that sits at the drive thru exit to our In N Out, which means it’s mega high traffic, and I went today and sure enough he’s there and he’s smiling and waving to every single car that passes, even though practically no one even bothered to look twice at him. 
3. I watched Piglet’s Big Movie again. My best friend who just moved out of our college house is the only person in my real life who’s ever bothered to notice that I only watch Pooh movies if I’m really upset. She’d see me watching them and bring me a cookie or a hug. I miss her.

Unfortunately those are the only three Robert Carlyle films I’ve seen. I really want to watch others (California Solo comes to mind heh) but they aren’t on netflix or Amazon Prime. I do have the 24 movie on DVD but I’m only on season two of the show, and I think I might be confused if I watched it.

Has anyone else noticed this continuity error? We were told in S5 that Dark Ones don’t sleep. So what was up with Gold having a nightmare in the ‘Lacey’ episode?

The writers don’t remember their own rules and add new ones when it’s convenient for them, no matter what’s been shown in the past. This is why people continually come back from them dead. This is why portals are easier to open than a bag of chips. I know there are more, but they’re not coming to mind.

I have always thought it was more that dark one’s don’t need to sleep, but they can if they want/are able to do so. Therefore after twenty-eight cursed years as Gold, Rumple probably was in the habit of sleeping everyday. He kept it up perhaps because it made him feel more human. That would be a good thing for both his developing relationship with Belle, and for reconnecting with Bae (Neal) when he found him.

So Rumple could sleep and have a nightmare, and still mean that “dark one’s don’t sleep” is true. That’s my headcanon anyway. It seemed to make sense to me.

Synopsis: Alternate Season Six. Storybrooke is visibly under threat once more from Hyde and the Evil Queen. However, not all threats are visible as an old forgotten foe has been manipulating events from behind the scenes. The very nature of darkness is revealed as everyone struggles with the most difficult beast of all – acceptance.

Note: I know it’s Monday, not Tuesday. However, I thought having the chapter early would be better than having it late. I have to unexpectedly go out of town again, it’s a family thing, and so I won’t be around tomorrow. That also means I’ll miss TMI Tuesday. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask, there just won’t be a reply until Wednesday. Enjoy!

“What the
hell?”

The young man
cradled his stinging hand against his chest. He had just reached for the door
handle on Gold’s shop and the damn thing had zapped him. He’d seen actual blue
sparks. Gingerly he reached forward again, this time slowly and he felt the
magical buildup. He couldn’t get his hand within three inches of the door
handle without the protections kicking in.

“Will you hurry
up?” his companion hissed, looking up and down the street.

“Doors locked –
magically,” he growled.

He stepped away
from the door, and they both walked a few feet to the nearby alley. There
weren’t many people about, and the few that were walking along weren’t paying
them any attention. However, if they loitered in front of the door for too
long, then they would be noticed and they couldn’t afford that – not now.

“Since when?”
the other man said incredulously.

Although I’m not interested in keeping either Jekyll or Hyde around, I felt sorry for Jekyll that he was offed by the Evil Queen right after he bravely pulled Hyde back into himself. And you would think Belle would learn by now – she thinks going away by herself to think things through when they hit a snag in their relationship ‘always worked’, but if it did, they’d have a much more solid relationship. You can’t work on a relationship apart, they have to work things out together.  (Also, hey, nice job tying up the loose end of what ever happened to Albert!)

Yeah I felt sorry for Jekyll. He did the brave thing, he made things right and then death was his reward. However, it had to happen because of .. reasons, the Evil Queen and .. something else.

Yup poor forgotten Albert Spencer/King George. You know I wonder why they never brought him back. a) there was never the right storyline to do it, b) never even thought about it, c) actor was too busy/refused, d) some other reason. Given how he could have been a political antagonist for Storybrooke leadership, and his importance to David, there was a lot there for them to play with and yet it was just dropped completely.

As for Belle, yeah I agree with you. A good relationship in my opinion is built on communication, not time apart. In fact I think in Belle’s next scene she is going to have a bit of a revelation on exactly what the ‘time apart’ has done for them … that won’t be in the next chapter though but soon 🙂

No writing happened today, on account of being too damn tired, but I did good anyway. Planned my Positivity fic (I have half a dozen title options and can’t choose – help!) AND also planned Between Two Fires, my fic for this months Monthly Rumbelling prompt.

I am slightly scared at how long both of them might turn out to be though. I really better get cracking tomorrow. I can’t believe it’s the 9th already – yikes – there’s only three weeks left in the month!

How did that happen? Seriously where did the last week go? I would like it back thanks 🙂

What are you working on? Or is it a secret? That seemed like the obvious question heh :) Hope you are having a good day!

I’m also trying to get back into the swing of The Blind Spot. I left that hanging way too long.

I just got back from an out of town trip and I’m really kinda tired. However, I decided to finish planning my fic for the Positivity Event so progress has been made on something. I’ll start the actual writing tomorrow 🙂

Did you read all the Rumbelle is Hope fics? 

Not sure if there are any smut fics included in that. @rowofstars Bragging Rights series is happy and one of my favorites. @emospritelet Made to Measure for RCIJ had no angst and a happy ending. This fandom does angst extremely well, it’s hard to bring to mind instantly very many pure happy fics, though I’m sure there are lots. I bet I’ll feel bad when other people chime in and list all the ones I’ve forgotten.

It’s probably not very politic to rec your own fics, but I got a oneshot – He’s Behind You – which is incredibly fluffy. No smut but it makes me smile.

Thor’s hammer was fixed by the time they found Sha’re on Abydos. They could have saved her but then that would have made things complicated. Can’t have any of sg1 having a happy home life.

The politics of the goa’uld and the ethics involved is something I wish they had explored in greater depth.
