I know I can re-order my queue, oh man I used to do that all the time. I had a set system so I was sure that I was evenly posting everything. These days I just let the queue spit out what it wants pretty much.
I was saying about the shuffle thingy because I just wish there was an automatic button that would randomly shuffle everything that’s in the queue. A few days back I went through my like list and added 120+ posts to the queue. Then this morning I went through my favourite gifmakers tumblr and grabbed all their gifsets that I hadn’t reblogged. However, that means I’ve got like I don’t know a huge number in a row just from that gifmaker. I would rather it was randomized.
I could go through and do it manually but truthfully I’m too lazy these days to worry that much about it. Poor @rumple-belle will just have to deal with the spam for several days as I reblog everything.
The same will go for other gifmakers as I get round to stalking their archives. Honestly if I could queue as easily as I can like then it wouldn’t be so big a deal, but it’s tagging everything that takes so much time.
I just wrote a post about how stunned I was that Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park weren’t in Hawaii Five-0 anymore but I deleted it because why?
I watch that show with family but I don’t really care about it. I won’t watch past season 7 because Chin and Kono were the only reasons I was putting up with McGarrett. Now I’m past the initial shock, I’ve realized I’m not upset and this could actually be a good thing.
I adore Agents of Shield but the ratings don’t match my love, season five might well be the last which means Ming Na Wen will be looking for a new job.
Picture Daniel Dae Kim partnered with Ming Na Wen in something. Hell I’d watch them watch paint dry.
Still I think we could do better than reading the phone book. Ming Na kicks serious butt. With Dark Matter gone, and Killjoys confirmed to only have two more seasons, we need more space pirates in our lives. How about the two senior crew members of the most badass crew in the galaxy?
Canadian sci-fi is very … well the same actors crop up so Melissa O’Neil could be a refugee from Dark Matter (she kicks serious butt as well!) and urk this is like wishlist material here.

I just heard what sounded like carol singing so I opened my bathroom window to look out the front of the house.
Instead of carollers I saw a large estate car equipped with speakers towing a sleigh with Santa standing in it waving to … well nobody because nobody was outside poor guy.
Seriously wasn’t expecting that to drive down the road – oh sounds like it’s coming back (I live in a close) – and I just watched them drive back out again. Huh and on today’s random events…
I wouldn’t blame anyone if they’d thought I’d disappeared. I literally just haven’t had the mental energy to keep up with tumblr BUT the last day of the semester was yesterday. I just about survived my exam (not sure I passed but I didn’t faint or throw up even if I was shaking so hard I couldn’t write my name legibly, thank merlin I was allowed a computer to type my answers). I do still have an essay and a report to write but they both have to be in by the 20th.
So come Wednesday I’m free until mid-January. My plan (and I know, no plan survives ever) is to beta read this fic for my friend, literally the first thing Thursday morning, they have been so patient waiting for me. I’ll then go through my like list *gulp* (that’s going to be long) and repopulate my queue. Then go through all the gifs from the awesome makers and reblog those.
You see I haven’t forgotten anyone, I’ve just been very very tired. After that it’s fic-time! I still have some RCIJ I never got round to reading (shhh don’t tell me about RSS I might cry) and so yeah. I want to support you guys. I know what it’s like feeling like you’re screaming into a void, so share the love you know.
Which brings me to my two WIP’s *cough* haven’t forgotten them, just been very very tired. No promises ever because then I just feel bad. They are still on my list and will happen one day. One thing at a time though and first I have an essay and a report to do.
Awwww thank you so much! Yup one semester down, seven more to go 🙂 Wow it’s hard to believe actually that it’s been a whole semester. I mean I certainly felt it at the time but now looking back I feel like I blinked.
Oh good. I was on the verge of messaging you to find out if you were still with us. Like you, I’ve been distinctly less here since the school thing, but that ended wednesday for me, so I’m here now and writing my RSS like a fiend (meaning I need to go write on that like right now!). I completely understand and I’m so glad to see your lovely icon back on my dash. I’d have said your lovely face, but I’ve never seen you, so…

Heh yeah I’m camera shy. I don’t like how I look so I avoid pictures whenever possible. Even my icon on Facebook is my game avatar and not actually me. Oooooh yeah you are at screenwriting school? or filmmaking? or something incredibly exciting like that? Massive congrats to you for surviving your semester! How was it? I hope it was great! I don’t know if anyone will see this but this is just a plea from me to the world to please tag your posts! It’s December, we’re ramping up to the Last Jedi, all the Star Wars fans are excited, I get it, I’m excited too 🙂
But I really, really want to be able to blacklist anything to do with Kylo Ren and especially the pairing of Kylo Ren and Rey. So please, pretty please, tag your posts so I can do that. I don’t mind that you love it, I’m happy for you, but I don’t wish to see it.
I dream every night. Vivid and often exhausting but last night it was interesting as well.
Set in World War Two. This General said “it can’t be done! We’ve sent our best men.” This Captain then marches up and says “maybe so but you still haven’t sent the best” and takes off their cap and loosens their hair tie. (In other words they need to send their best woman).
What happened next is kinda fuzzy, as dreams often are, but the Captain is paired with a female partner. There is a scene with a half-naked guy and the Captain doesn’t blink which the partner thinks is odd but then notices them blushing and checking out this girl. They have to pretend to be a married couple and so there’s some awkward bedsharing.
Erm there was a scene where they had to chase a train but couldn’t be seen boarding as their target was onboard. They had to change clothes and they had matching jackets. Details are fuzzy but that was an important point because of some flirting. It’s hard to remember. Anyway it developed quite slowly with the partner realising she liked the Captain too.
I woke up before the stereotypical happy ending kiss. I keep trying to remember more about it but it’s like holding water in my fingers. Dreams are annoying like that. Still I thought it was cool.
Ok erm well I did my presentation yesterday. It’s reading week this week so I have no assignments, no lectures, nothing except a bit of prep reading to do until Tuesday.
Which is good because I’ve been feeling awful with this cold. You know how all colds are different? Well this one is in my throat/chest, so there’s not a lot of snot but there’s an awful lot of coughing. Which hurts and makes me sick and other disgusting things (sorry for the TMI). Also triggered a migraine last night so I’ve slept most of today.
Anyway in regards to NaNo…

Yeaaah I’m a little bit behind. My plan is to hopefully catch up before Tuesday when uni returns like revenge of the assignments, and I really, really want to read some fic and do my queue and spread some love to you amazing fandom people. I’m sorry that fandom stuff is always last on my list. One day I will get the hang of this time management thing.
Anyway, TLDR I’m still here and still ‘trying’ *hugs to you all*
Ok my presentation slides and script are done. I finally nagged my group enough to get them to agree to meeting tomorrow. All good. I literally can not wait for Wednesday to be over.
Did I mention earlier I’m getting sick again? I’m trying to resist but ugh I feel lousy. Achy, sore throat, throat to ear pain, sick from the lump in my throat, all round general feeling rubbish.
This is my second cold inside six weeks 🙁 No fair! *stamps foot*
