Ooooh ok I’m a bad Star Trek fan, I never got on with the older series. I love the new movies, I’m itching for the new series and I had a love/hate relationship with Enterprise. I think I’m going to go with the movies, otherwise I’ll wind up getting snarky about Trip.

A crossover ship I’d dig: Like I said the last time I did this, the problem is so many people are already paired up on Once. Honestly I think I might go for Kirk and early seasons Emma. They have difficult childhoods in common, they both have a saving people thing, they both have a fighting against authority thing. It would be prickly, lots of drinking in hick bars, lots of sassing one another but ultimately they’d both understand the burdens the other faced and step up when the situation called for it.

A crossover BroTP I’d dig: Bones and Regina – can you imagine the levels of sarcasm?

A crossover Frenemies I think would be inevitable: Spock and Rumple. Either they’d work together well, or it would be like oil and water. I think it would depend on what side they were on. I think Spock would appreciate Rumple’s approach (and Rumple would seriously appreciate Spock’s logic) but if they were on opposite sides then it’s like immovable object meet unstoppable force.

A crossover badass duo I think would be inevitable: Chekov and Henry. Chekov was 17 when he was first assigned to Enterprise – a genius. Henry has been battling evil so to speak since he was 10 so he has experience, and an innate understanding of the book.

A crossover animosity I think would be inevitable: Scotty vs magic. I think he would love it, right up until he couldn’t figure out how it worked. He’s an engineer and it would be like waving candy at him and holding it just out of reach. Merlin help Regina’s vault or the pawnshop if Scotty with his detector got let loose on them.

I have a lot of writing ask memes in that tag heh. I hope I picked the right one! I’m fairly certain I did because it was a title match but if I got it wrong, then feel free to ask again 🙂

5) Do you think stories can change lives? Is there a story that has changed yours?

Yes I do think stories can change lives. Sometimes in big ways because by identifying with characters or situations people can have revelations about themselves. They can finally understand something they’d been feeling for a while, they can realize that they aren’t alone etc. It can be in smaller ways as well, for instance letting people escape reality for a better world for a little while. Giving them hope by letting them see that the bad guys can be defeated, or that somebody in a bad situation can get into a better one.

Stories can change lives in a lot of ways. What I’ve just said is only a fraction of the ways I believe it’s possible. Has a particular story changed my life? Yeah I think so. Certain stories or fictional worlds have come into my life when I needed them. I’ve drawn comfort from them, I’ve drawn inspiration. Plus it’s a story – Once Upon a Time – that has led me to this fandom. I’ll always be grateful for that.

7) Do you listen to music while you write/read?
I listen to music all the time. Unless I’m watching TV or with other people, then music is playing. I need it because music is a consistent sound and it normalizes the background, taking away the unexpected. I wouldn’t say I’m strictly listening to music all the time. Sometimes I pay attention to the songs but mostly it just helps keep me calm. So yeah I listen to music when writing/reading, it helps with the focus. Otherwise I’m constantly jumping at every slight bump or sound of conversation. My bio is accurate! I never go anywhere without my iPod 🙂

Belle: Yes Emma said the same.

Gold: He thought it was something we should discuss before we got married. *looks pained* apparently he’s just waiting on the date before arranging the bachelor party. He’s enjoying this way too much.

Belle: *sniggers* Sorry darling. You know strippers are often a feature of bachelor parties and hen nights. How about you tell Neal and I’ll tell Ruby that we’re arranging a private show of our own? That should put a stop to any of their more wilder ideas.

Gold: Excellent idea sweetheart. How about we … practice right now?

Right Once is back tonight!

I live in the UK and we don’t get the episode until Wednesday when it gets added to netflix. My intention at the moment is to avoid my dash until I’ve seen the episode. I might break that because I have very poor self-control but generally I prefer to see the episode, and form opinions for myself.

Consider this a bit of a PSA – Artists, writers PLEASE REBLOG YOUR STUFF. I want to read, I want to reblog, I want to give you the props you deserve for being amazing but if you post at the beginning of the week I might not see it. Neither will anyone else in my position.

We should have a great Friday reblog or something.

Anyway, I should be reviewing every episode like I did for 6A; forming headcanons, and theories, and analyzing character motivations, and all that stuff. I’ll just be late to the party as always because unless *whistles innocently* something inexplicable happens, it’ll be Wednesday night before I can watch. Either way, soon we will know what happened next…

Does this make anyone else think of either Student!Rush studying at college, or Professor Rush ignoring the paperwork on the screen in favor of the math in his notebook? All it needs is a Lacey or a Belle sneaking up behind him now.

The look on his face makes me think more about a desperate student than a professor.

Yup studying was the first thing that came to my mind. Maybe last minute cramming for a test he didn’t much care for. I think most colleges make you take some classes not directly related to your major, you need a certain amount of credits or something.

Anyway Belle or Lacey should go and “help” him study, or you know help him “not” to study 🙂

Where is that writing post? The one that talks about the trials of a smut writer. I feel a mighty need to reblog it. Honestly every time I try and write a smut fic lately, plot explodes everywhere. I set myself a simple task – to write the smut – and the day gets late and my brain gets tired and says “no more words” and still no smut. Like really?

I suppose I was asking for it with this oneshot. Gold is being very woobie. He’s somehow got the opinion that love isn’t enough.

It would only be this once, because after Belle saw how pathetic he was, she would break up with him. She said she loved him, and he definitely loved her, but Belle deserved so much better than him and he hoped that she would see that.

I should be writing one of my WIP’s, or at least something I can post this month. What am I writing? One of the Monthly Rumbelling fics for April. I’m trying to frame this as a positive because I’ve written next to nothing all week, so at least I’m writing. On the other hand, for someone that hates sitting on fic, this is getting ridiculous.
