I’m supposed to be writing, instead I just went and found a bunch of Nicholas Rush gifsets and added them to the queue.

I’ve never done a queue before but it occurred to me that I’ll get a nice surprise whenever they are posted. I’ll be scrolling through my dash and go “Rush!!” and then realize it was me that reblogged it 🙂

I learnt a tumblr thing :)

I wanted to put that Loki “I’m listening” gif on my last reblog. Despite finding it in tumblr search, I could not make it come up on the gif search. I was putting in the exact tag and all that came up was the first gif in the set (the one I wanted was third).

So I clicked the first gif from the set, swapped tumblr to HTML view. Went to the original post and got the URL image link for the third gif, and changed it out and boom, I had the right gif and it was all properly credited.

I wonder why tumblr gif search doesn’t show all the gifs. That was really frustrating. I wanted to include the gif properly, with all proper credit and everything. My only other option was to not add anything, add something else or just not reblog. Glad I found a way to do it 🙂

Kudos to all the beautiful souls in this fandom who create beautiful art and beautiful stories for us to see and to those who take the time to leave comments and host events for us to come together as a community. You all make the Rumbelle fandom a place worth being. Thank you.

Tumblr feels

I wish that there were different options for likes. Some things I like because I want to be able to find them again e.g. the gorgeous gif sets. However, there are some posts that I want to be able to like because I agree with them but I don’t want to look back at them later.

I want an upvote button in addition to like, or I want to be able to categorize my likes. Being able to sort likes would probably be more useful longterm, I could have a “gorgeous pictures” category, a “for reference” category, a “I agree/approve/like this message” category, an “awesome fanfic” category etc.

That would be way more useful than just “I like everything” because this is why I am sparing with my likes. If I do like everything, then I’ll never find stuff later but I want to like stuff because there are messages I agree with and it seems mean not to like them.

Tumblr is hard.

Tumblr fail

Ok why did tumblr not tell me that the “asked question” would disappear after I replied? /runs to write down the prompt I was given before I forget it.

I just wanted to say thanks, cool prompt, will use /facepalm

I’m not so good at making gifs. I’d actually not done it before but google saved the day. Anyway, I was thinking this over last night. Tomorrow, we’re going to need to express how we feel and I just thought this line was perfect. I’m just putting it up ready for Sunday’s episode. Well Wednesday for me because I live in the UK and have to wait for netflix.

If the episode goes badly then play the line straight, how it’s intended because we are in trouble.

If the episode goes well, then there’s no need for sarcasm. We thought we were in trouble and it turns out we’re not. So reverse that sucker.

Besides nothing can be truly terrible with a side order of Nicholas Rush to the rescue. I could totally quote and then gif/pic this guy all day.

I am now ready for ‘Last Rites’ and the two-hour finale.
