Does anyone else wonder sometimes if their brain is subconsciously punishing them? I’ve never had the courage to say type that out loud before because it just seems so patently ridiculous. I know what I need to do so just do it and if I don’t do the thing, then there’s no-one to blame but me. I need to take responsibility when I suck and not muse like this over my brain punishing me.

Seriously though is it possible?

Last week I was dying to do this drawing project but I told myself PRIORITIES and that fic came first. Fast forward a week and a few words have been written but nowhere near enough. I’ve had ample time to finish the writing projects but it’s just been a big nope on the focusing.

So is my brain sulking? Is it going “you wouldn’t let me do what I wanted so *sticks tongue out* sucks to be you, I’m not going to cooperate” – like I said patently ridiculous. It’s not like I can just do what I feel like all the time. I mean priorities but telling my brain to grow up if it’s sulking isn’t working.

I’m relatively sure (or at least I hope) that if my priorities were actual priorities (aka stuff with an actual deadline, as opposed to just fanfics I want done) then I would actually do it. It’s just like fanfic vs fanart = brain sulking in the corner.

My poor friend who usually gets these type of rambles from me isn’t online yet heh, so that’s why my dash is getting it. Honestly the AMR fic at least does have a deadline aka 2 days! Stupid brain *slaps self* write damn you!

For TMI: Not sure if you intend on tuning in for season 7, or have paid attention to the bts spoilers, but what if you have, what is your headcanon for this new version of Rumple, under the new curse? And would you ever consider writing fics for this Rumple/Gold, if so, what ideas are you toying with? :~)

OH YES! Heh 🙂 I am definitely 100% watching season seven. I was committed the moment I learned that RC and LP were signed on for it.

I’m going to put everything under the cut in case of spoilers, though considering how little I know there’s probably not much 🙂

Hehe I think I might have been a teeny bit too excited 🙂

I got my online registration email for my course today and I immediately ran to do it – quite literally! I was sleepily checking my phone early this morning (which is a sunday) saw it and bolted out of bed. I went through all the steps …. aaaaand yeah I don’t think they were quite expecting anyone just yet. All the stuff up there is about last year.

Heya sorry to bother you *waves* but you are about the only person I know these days that plays Warcraft. I’ve been trying to do everything in order as I like to follow the story, and I think I stumbled onto a later patch (and I see another one is about to drop eeek) but I totally don’t get how Illidan has returned. I’ve googled several times and I’m still confused. Sorry if it’s a stupid question and you don’t have to answer. I hope you are having a good week!

Hi!  Not a stupid question at all ! :D.  Apparently Illidan never really died in Black Temple the first time.  He was weakened and imprisoned by Maeiv in the Vault of the Wardens back in Burning Crusade and he broke free for Legion.

The Black Temple thing is kind of confusing because there are people who will tell you he DID die there.  But he turned full demon so now he can only be killed in the Twisting Nether.  It is pretty confusing.  But yeah essentially his body  was imprisoned but his soul broke free or something like that.

Ahhh ok that’s why I was so confused! I’d been googling about “how did Illidan come back from the dead?” and I read that he’d never really died and I scratched my head at that. Because I just got Legion I’d only very very recently done the intro quests, and the Demon Hunter intro etc. and in that I could have sworn that they’d said that Maiev had brought Illidan’s corpse to be imprisoned along with his Illidari.

So alright. It turns out google was giving me the right answer, I just didn’t understand it *roll eyes at me* but fair enough. I mean it did also say in the Demon Hunter intro about how Illidan had a special soul (like a player I guess) which could resurrect upon death. Which would make sense why Maiev would then imprison his body, to stop his soul from being able to reattach and revive. It would be like all those corpse runs where your body is on the other side of the damn wall and you can’t find a way round heh.

Guess what? Thanks to special offers and trade-ins and educational discount etc. etc. I got a new shiny iPad to replace my 8 year old MacBook for less than half-price? about half-price? So much money off anyway. It’s so much lighter (which my back is grateful for as I’ll have to carry it around campus) but the coolest thing about it I’ve discovered so far is the drawing capabilities.

Oh, oh, you know how terrible my handwriting is? Actually you probably don’t but it’s bad. Well this machine can actually recognize it so I can annotate extracts for my course, I can turn notes into text with the touch of a button. It can split-screen! Split-screen! So I can have research on one window, my essay in another. It’s going to be super good for academics but like I said the coolest thing about it is the drawing.

You know I like to play with fanart sometimes well I’m going to be doing that again. I’m stoked to see what I can do with this new piece of kit. Anyway fic first, play with shiny toys later! I know this is a random post but I just wanted to share my excitement. It’s just cool 🙂

Somebody remind me later that I just liked a bunch of posts I want to put in my queue. I don’t have time to do it now. I think sometimes I do this and then I forget so I wind up not reblogging as intended. My test for “have I reblogged this?” is whether the post is liked or not, so we’re in dangerous waters.

Honestly sometimes I think I would forget my head if it wasn’t screwed on *rolls eyes at self* I’m wishing for like the 100th time that the like function had folders or something so I could sort what I’m liking. That would be so helpful.
