It’s not been flagged. I know other people can see it because 1 person has liked it (thank you friend), so I don’t get it.

So it’s in the tags just not obviously because of this shit. Why would tumblr even do that? Oh I know why. But ugh!

Sorry for the swearing but this is just pissing me off a lot right now.

I am absolutely living for the comments I’m getting on this gifset I made a few weeks ago. I don’t know how it’s going round but I’m loving it.

I wish tumblr had a way for me to unobtrusively go “I see that and you are sweet and afdksjfs” because <— it me right now.

The comments aren’t even aimed at me, it’s flailing over the angst (because that ship is made of pain) and it’s still making my day. Something I made is having an impact on people, even for just a few seconds.

Most of tumblrs updates are not improvements but adding tags to the activity window was amazing *chefs kiss* (not that I didn’t click on each reblog and check manually anyway because ahem of course I did).

(OMG guys guess what mobile tumblr just kicked back. This post from a couple of weeks ago. It said “found a lost draft, do you wish to restore?” and curious I said yes and boom. This had failed to post and then the app froze and I just want ugh and didn’t bother rewriting it.)

Went downstairs and found mum watching Timeless. I said NoSpoilers but she wanted to know if Lucy got her sister back (and I did sadly confirm no) and then she wondered about her mom. I hesitated at this point but said she didn’t get sick again (and mum knew I was hiding something) so I did say she was a bad guy. I then repeated NoSpoilers! Because I didn’t want to wreck it for them.

But I did tell her that it got better as time went on (because it did when Flynn was revealed to be more of an anti-hero). I wanted to make sure she gave it a chance.

And I told her that the ending was a bit crappy (because it was as they made Lucy hook up with Wyatt which is a big NoTP for me yuck).

But I sat and watched about 15 minutes before I remembered I was supposed to be going to bed. It was only episode 2 so I didn’t see any Garcy interaction but /sigh I am definitely having Garcy feels.

As it’s now over halfway through December (so decidedly not NaNo) I figured I should change my icon.

Fitting John, James and Helen on it would have been difficult and choosing between them? Ehhh I couldn’t. So I made them my on-dashboard header instead. Which meant for the icon I could go with Nikola Tesla instead. Single-handedly redeeming vampires since 2008.

This show man. Sometimes I wonder how I went from starting season one a bit dubiously, as I wasn’t positive I’d like it, to being this damn obsessed.

I haven’t updated my theme since tumblr broke and auto-removed my last one what 2 years ago? I figured I would because I felt like it.

SWEET MERLIN TUMBLR IS FUCKING ANNOYING!!!!!

It let me save the theme but now it won’t let me save it again. It insists there’s http assets being referenced. It won’t let me update a single damn thing. So I can’t correct the links on the sidebar

I have tried everything I can think of but the second I open it to edit it won’t let me save it again, even if I do nothing. HOW IS IT WRONG IF I DON’T CHANGE ANYTHING?!?!?!

Tearing my damn hair out. This is beyond frustrating. I just wanted to link to my own tumblr – internal fucking links! But no something is just wrong.

I hate everything.

You know what I’m not going to fix it.

Mostly because I can’t work out how to without picking a completely different scene or making it look awful. Tumblr just doesn’t like the shoulder curve. I checked to see if I could appeal but it’s not a flagged post (it’s just an invisible one).

It’s annoying that it’s not in the tags but hey I’m doing this for fun. I like to share, and obviously I hope it’ll make someone smile, but I’m not going to bang my head against a brick wall for it.

Seriously though tumblr it’s a shoulder. What is your problem?

I owe tumblr an apology.

I’ve been complaining for weeks that this site hasn’t been loading properly on desktop. I assumed it was because the staff had screwed something up again. I thought it was a tumblr problem … until I noticed images weren’t loading very well on other sites either.

So I ran a speedtest and found that I was only getting 4mbs. I was about to yell at my ISP but then it hit me – tumblr loaded fine on my phone. I ran a speedtest on my phone and it was 50mbs! Curious I ordered a wireless USB adaptor for my desktop (I had been using an ethernet powerline adaptor) and today it came and I ran another speedtest.

54mbs – a full 50mbs faster using wi-fi.

So I’m sorry tumblr it wasn’t you, it was me and thank merlin I’ve fixed it because it was starting to drive me mental.

Is anyone else reminded of Fudge and his “have to be seen to be doing something” in light of tumblrs recent actions?

They aren’t dealing with the actual problem, just making a big noise so they have something to show to tptb.

Do you ever think that maybe you have been on tumblr too long when you see something on TV and think “that would make the perfect reaction gif”?

What’s worse is I can’t even make gifs so seriously brain?!?
