Yeah that sounds amazing! To be honest if it was DO!Rumple then he would never let Swanfire do anything, he would click his fingers and defeat the danger, rather than letting them risk themselves. However, you want to play it though, it will be awesome! š

I think I have to pick the EF with Emma and teen!Bae purely because Iāve not read anything similar to that before.
Plus there needs to be more Swanfire fics generally. So yeah, rebel!Princess/Knight Emma and teen!Baelfire getās my vote. However, if you would prefer one of the others, then thatās fine. Write whatever youāll enjoy writing the most.

Well weāve been paired according to ships. Iām mainly a Rumbelle shipper but I do also ship Swanfire. I listed both on my application and Iām not sure which you are. Either is awesome. I do love them both.
In regards to anything else, I donāt know if weāll match or not. Like I said I want you to have fun, so if I like something that you hate, you donāt have to include it. My second favorite character is Regina. I love anything Gold family related. So Rumple and Henry grandfather and grandson bonding, or Gold being a father to Neal (if heās a kid) or a child with Belle. Smut isnāt necessary. If you wanted to write it then I wouldnāt object but itās not needed.
What donāt I want to see? Not a fan of āgoodā Zelena or āgoodā blue fairy. I think both are villains through and through. Iām not really a fan of Hook and Belle being friends unless Hook gave a proper apology. I have complicated feelings about Hook. I have liked him at times and I think he had real potential as a character. However, how heās been written lately makes me really dislike him. If heād had a proper redemption arc then no problem but that didnāt happen. To be honest I think thatās also why I canāt accept good Zelena. She supposedly became a hero in the space of about two episodes and I just canāt buy that, not after everything she did.
What sort of story would I like? You know Iām feeling belated sympathy for the person Iām the gifter for now. I asked them to give me a prompt and they struggled and now I get why. I like canon-divergence, I like all different kinds of AU. I would be happy with pretty much anything.
I know that is seriously not helpful but the deadline is tight on this one and I donāt want to box you in. I donāt even know what you like writing, although I am assuming you are writing? You might be making something else, there were lots of options on the signup and anything would be cool. Just want you to have fun.

Earlier this week, I ran a Twitter poll on comment replies and invited discussion on it. The objective was to find out whether people expect replies to their comments on fics, whether it influences their engagement or opinion with the fic/author, and how/why.
As you can see, I received 154 votes and the results were overwhelmingly in favour of nice, but not necessaryā¦
ā¦but the variety of elaborations really surprised me, and it was very interesting to sift through replies. Here are some of the key points. All quotes are pretty much directly from what people sent me in response to the poll.
1. The bottom line is: most people, as commenters, do not expect comment replies.
Even if they say yeah, itās nice. They donāt expect it.
This was usually for one of two reasons, the first being that authors are simply not obliged to reply (or to do anything, really).
Itās definitely a no from me. I donāt consider the OP has to take all that time to reply when they already gave us the fic in the first place.
Since authors have their own lives, I wouldnāt know what theyāre feeling etc. Getting a reply to a comment is a nice surprise imo.
The author has already done their part in writing and sharing and they donāt owe you anything for enjoying their work. If they want to step away after that then so be it.
In general, I try to comment on everything I read and I never expect a reply, but itās very true that as a writer I will try to reply to every comment. When it comes to Tumblr, if I donāt reply to your comment, it means Tumblr probably didnāt show it to me, or I missed it completely and Iām sorry.

Same here. One of the best things about AO3 is that it makes it SO easy to reply to comments – I wish FFN reviews were so easy (or so visible!) to respond to. Tumblr is harder because I miss reblogs when Iām at work, and the āreplyā function is only so-so at best, anyway. But I still try to reply to everything someone takes the time to send me, be it comments, reviews, or tumblr replies/reblogs, because I always feel honored that folks took the time out to comment/review/post about my fic.
This ^^ thatās why I reply to all comments I get. Iām grateful that people took the time to read my work and drop me a note about it.
I also comment on everything I read to support other authors. I like comments on my work so I pay it forward.
Do you ever see so many awesome gifsets cross your dash, that you want to watch a show youād never considered watching before? Itās just the gifsets make it look so awesome. (Farscape Iām looking at you, why are you not on UK netflix?)
Itās Mitchell and Vala, yet not. I didnāt ship them at all on SG1 but man those Farscape gifsets are so compelling.
Iām semi-convinced itās the gifsets that made me into an actual low-key Swanfire shipper. I always liked Neal because he was so damn important to everyone, but I could take or leave him and Emma until all the Swanfire hit my dash, suddenly it was just too sweet and now I ship them.
