I went back to uni myself last September and so I’m very familiar with the “this is going ok” and then a couple of days later “how could I let it get this bad??” as somehow the difference of a couple of days changes perception and panic results – or at least it does for me.
To be honest I wish I’d begged for some extra time for my gift. I did the detailing in a mad rush yesterday and I’m not at all happy with it. I did my best with the time I had but it still doesn’t feel good enough. This past month just disappeared.
TLDR – please don’t worry! I’m very happy to wait and I’d rather you took your time and are happy, then be stressed and miserable.

Awesome science joke I love it! 🙂 This gif is my attempt to find a science-related gif to say thank you. I actually read a science book recently. It was called The Universe Next Door and some parts of it made me think of Fitzsimmons. I haven’t watched season 5 but I remember when Fitz explained how they couldn’t change the future, if what Daisy had seen was the future, in season 3. It said what Fitz said 🙂

Awesome Day One of my “reading fanfic on the bus” experiment worked well. I downloaded half a dozen fanfics on my TBR pile off AO3 onto the kindle ready for today. On the way in I read a one shot and made notes on my phone for writing up as a comment when I get home.
Hopefully this will continue as I feel really guilty how little fanfic I’ve read, and how I’ve barely commented in months. You guys are fabulous and deserve all the kudos in the world.

I’m really excited and kinda nervous about this exchange. It’s my first foray into the Fitzsimmons fandom but man I love Agents of Shield so much! I’m googling everyday to see if there’s an airdate yet for season 5 in the UK. Avoiding spoilers is an exercise in futility so I do know a bit and urk it looks amazing!!!
In all honesty I’m very easy to please. I know sometimes not having very many guidelines can be difficult when coming up with ideas but really what most concerns me is that you have fun. I don’t really want something set within season 5 as I wouldn’t understand any ‘in-jokes’ but any other time (or an AU) is fair game.
I mean some shows have good seasons and bad not so great seasons. For me it feels like Agents of Shield started great and has gone strength to strength ever since. I love it all! 🙂 I suppose I’m less fond of Daisy and Lincoln among those who have been regulars. Daisy has improved over the seasons but I confess still isn’t a favourite. I also find Ward in any incarnation quite boring, I just simply don’t care about him as a character. If you love any character though by all means include them, I don’t mind 🙂 As for who are my favourites? I could probably list pretty much everyone else heh.
One of the things I love most about the show is how genre savvy it is and how self-aware. Like Coulson going “spoiler alert” about Nick Fury in season 2, or Mack talking about robot movies – oh I love it when Fitz talks about the laws of physics and it’s super cute when he and Simmons finish each others sentences. Who am I kidding I love everything, this list could get seriously long.
Erm ooops sorry I think I’ve rambled and I’m not sure I’ve answered your questions. I think I got a bit enthusiastic *hides*
Anyway first day stuff. Unless I’m sleeping then generally I’ll respond to any ask pretty quickly. If it’s more than 24 hours then tumblr ate it. Wow erm lots of things I guess. I mean you’re saying fandom but outside of gifsets it’s more awareness of the show/movie etc. I might have vaguely heard of it but obviously seeing it live and in colour makes more of an impression.
I know that’s a bit of a non-answer so I’m going back to two things I think I’ve mentioned before.
1) Farscape – I had heard of this pre-tumblr and I’d watched the first episode to try it. I decided I didn’t like it and dismissed it. Post-tumblr and all the amazing gifsets and I bought the complete boxset. I have four episodes left + the miniseries before I’ve seen everything. I never would have given it another try and discovered how entertaining it is if not for tumblr.
2) Agents of Shield – this is for fandom awareness. I loved the show pre-tumblr and tumblr couldn’t make me love it anymore because that’s simply not possible. Although saying that every time I watch it I swear I love it more – it just keeps getting better and better, but I digress. Tumblr gave me an outlet to show my love but I have just stuck to reblogging gifsets. I’ve gradually learned more about the AoS fandom and I’d love to participate but I kinda made my choice. I only have time for one fandom and I’ve made too many friends, and got too many projects, for Rumbelle to even consider walking away. Rumbelle is it for me in the fandom stakes, so I just watch AoS from afar 🙂
@eclecticmuses I recently got one of the new iPad Pro’s. I’d seen RedBubble offered cases and I was all excited to get one only to discover that the cases were for much older models BUT I found a way round it 🙂
That’s why I’m posting this, in case you want to share it with your followers who might have been as disappointed as I was thinking they couldn’t get one of your cases. What I did was get a regular plastic case and then one of the skins. I had to trim it a bit to fit the different dimensions but it still works! I’m really pleased with it, I think it looks super cool.
Sorry for the lack of Once in my queue, I haven’t been on tumblr in days. I’ve had multiple migraines and barely managed to get out of bed let alone anything else. That’s also why I haven’t reblogged anything, replied to anything etc. so I’m not ignoring you, or being rude. That’s also my excuse for not posting anything this week and why I didn’t do TMI Tuesday. Migraines suck!

Thank you all so much! I am feeling a 100x better than I did. I’m still pretty tired, and I feel a little like I’ve gone a few rounds in the boxing ring heh but unless I have another migraine (*slaps self* don’t even say that) then I’m definitely on the mend. Good thing too, I have things to do 🙂
