Last month I wrote a fair bit of smut. It was almost embarrassing actually how many smut fics I posted. This month I’m looking at the list and I have smut fics to write and I really don’t want to write them. It’s like I’ve lost all impetus to write smutty fics. Does anyone else get that?

There can be too much of a good thing 🙂 If you eat ribeyes steak everyday, it’s delicious, but you’ll need a break.
So get to it a little later when the call of the Dark D and the librarian V gets loud again 🙂

All the time. Maybe it’s time for fluff, or worldbuilding, or costume porn. Maybe there are some plot bunnies that need to be pulled out to see if they’ve shown any sign of turning into Actual Plots.
This makes me feel better. Thank you guys! It’s just frustrating when there are events and stuff because they are obviously time sensitive. Words generally are being a bit of a pain at the moment, and with smut I’ve always needed it to be more than just about the act. Maybe if I can find the missing emotion, or character development, then it’ll give me the impetus. If not then I guess I’ll just have to sit this round out.
