April was the month of events really. Between Order in the Court and A Monthly Rumbelling I didn’t manage to write much else fanfic-wise. I really wanted to at least update Under My Skin and I feel terrible that I didn’t. I talked with a friend about it and they said that deadline fics, like for events, had to be done whereas WIP’s could wait. That’s true but that doesn’t stop me from feeling guilty.

Anyway, April was productive in terms of word count but it was also Camp NaNo which always gives me a boost. Hopefully, like after last July, I’ll be able to ride the wave for a while and keep it going. I’ve kinda learnt my lesson really about promising when I’ll have things updated because intentions are meaningless. I do my best but time plays tricks on me and just disappears. We’ll have to see how May pans out but I have my fingers crossed. I know I say this every month but the WIP’s deserve better and I really am going to try.
