I try very hard to stick to an update schedule. It’s important to me that my word is good. If I make a commitment, then I honor it. I think this is the first time I’ve actually failed to keep a promise, any other late update was something I said I would try for, but then didn’t manage. However, I’ve slipped. I lost a week and I’ve been playing catch up, just managing to scrape my deadlines, but now I’ve run out of steam.

It’s my most popular story which makes it even worse but I won’t be updating Painting Layers of Love tomorrow. This isn’t like my panic from last week, where I managed to pull it out of the bag in time, I literally can’t manage to do it. I have a complete outline for the chapter, it’s just a matter of putting words to the page. However, I just don’t have it in me to get it done in time. I’m really sorry for that but there’s just no way it’s going to happen.

Therefore I’m going to move the update of Painting Layers of Love to Tuesday. I’m aware I owe another part of Transposing Digits, that’ll be next on the list after that. Faith of the Heart is kinda at the halfway point, I have finished part one and haven’t yet started part two, therefore I’m alright with leaving it for a week or two – sorry to everyone waiting for the fluff. However, before I write part two of that, I really need to finish The Tomb (Rumbelle Revelry fic).

So that’s how the fic priorities for the next couple of weeks is going to shake down. Normal service will be resumed after that.
