Does anyone else find it easier to write when you really *should* be doing something else?
Of course it’s one of the rules of writing.
Another rule is that when you absolutely can’t write for some reason, then writing is all you want to do and all you can think about.
Which is tied symbiotically to the next rule. The rule that states when you have nothing to do but write. The entire day free and clear for nothing but writing, suddenly you want to do anything but writing. “I got laundry right? I should hoover the house … ooooh I have a sudden need to reorganise something.”
