Artist Asks: 🐻 Your go-to things to draw when you need comfort?

I confess I’m so focused on improvement that I don’t really draw for comfort. I’m so hyper-critical of what I’m doing and always attempting to better my technique.

Doodling however hehe 🙂

Oh man back when I was at school many moons ago I had this thing about a stylized ‘S’. It wasn’t like I was a fan of Superman (and I didn’t change my name until I was 18) but I doodled this S everywhere, I have no idea why, and sometimes I would put it on a shield, or I’d draw a 3D box around it, but always, always this S.

That stylized S came in handy when I did change my name as it became the start of my signature. My hand just does it.
