Weirdly I’m also reminded of Picard and the punching the hole into robot land but that might just be the “bringing something back with them” that is tickling my brain as I had this headcanon re: replicators and the Borg but that’s a whole other thing.

lol was Pelia performing? I mean she wasn’t wrong in what she said although I liked Pike’s view too because I guess it can be cultural? Certainly when dealing with aliens. I mean they sort of flirted with that moral debate on Stargate Atlantis with how the wraith feed on humans, and taking that away made them not be wraith anymore. But at the same time humans as food obviously feels wrong. I’m not up for that level of debate. It’s interesting but way over my head.
