So thanks to traffic I just had the day from hell. A 3 hour traffic jam this morning. Then when I went to go home the obstruction was still there and I couldn’t face it again. Tried to go country backroads and went in a big circle for 20 mins thanks to the satnav not doing anything helpful – “take a U-turn” – seriously?

I think I’ve burned out the clutch of my car and possibly damaged the frontend. I kicked this bit back in place from where it was popped out but who knows about underneath?

Eventually made it home an hour and a half later – this journey takes maybe 20 minutes, more obviously during rush hour but the max it’s been thus far was 50 minutes.

BUT everything is fine because an email just popped up and one lovely, wonderful, amazing human has gone through and given kudos on a dozen of my fics.
