1) What was your favorite cartoon as a kid?
Depends when as a kid and what qualifies as a cartoon. When I was really little I liked Thomas the Tank Engine and SuperTed. Awww SuperTed I’m getting nostalgic now šŸ™‚ When I got a bit older I liked X-Men: Evolution.

2) Do you like math?
I love math! I wish I was better at it because I think it’s really cool. So much of the world can be broken down into formulas and equations. We can understand a lot of the cosmos thanks to math. Math drives science. Math is the reason that so many things work, well math and physics, like it’s why bridges stay up and how planes can fly and so many cool things. I used to get really frustrated at school. I am very much an applied math person, and I wanted to know what use the different math had, I just got told to shut up and get on with my work and then I struggled. I always did so much better if I knew the point, if I could thinkĀ ā€˜this is the math of architecture’ or something. I guess that’s just how my brain works.

3) Sweet or savory breakfast?
What counts as a sweet breakfast? I mean I like crunchy nut cornflakes, I guess they are a little sweet because of the honey. I also like raspberry and vanilla soya yogurt, which isn’t exactly bitter. Erm, so I don’t know how to answer but I eat those two things.

4) Why did you join tumblr?
For the Rumbelle fandom. I was browsing some blogs anonymously and then I saw theĀ ā€˜Rumbelle is Hope’ event was going to start May 2016, so I took the leap because I wanted to join in basically.

5) Is there a trope you really really like in fics?
I don’t know. I guess … is established relationship a trope? I will never ever get tired of reading my OTP being happily married. It doesn’t have to be fluff but I like them dealing with problems together. I like all sorts of tropes really, they have become tropes for a reason it’s because they are good things šŸ™‚

6) Do you like your name, or do you prefer people to shorten it/use a nickname?
I really don’t mind. Most people call me Sam, rather than Samantha, but I’ll answer to both and I let people choose.

7) What’s your favorite time of the day?
That depends. Probably on a general basis, after breakfast in the morning. If I’m going to have a good day, it’s that time that usually determines that. If I start off being productive, then I can usually carry it through. Plus I stand the best chance of tackling harder tasks at that time, as I’m hopefully not too tired as I’ll have only just got up, and breakfast should be giving me energy. That’s the theory anyway.

8) Do you think high school is/was a good period of your life?
Tough one. I felt more accomplished at high school because basically if I put the effort in, then I was rewarded with good grades. Good grades made me feel better about myself, so I liked that. High school generally? No, it really sucked for so many reasons.

9) What’s your ideal way to spend a day off of work/study?
Ok I’d have the house to myself. I wouldn’t feel guilty because perhaps I’d done everything I was supposed to for a change. I’d have decided the previous day that I was taking the time off, so it was an allowed thing and not just me being lazy. Then I’d probably spend the day doing a mix of watching TV/movies and playing video games.

10) Do you like doing chores?
Does anyone like doing chores? I like it when they are done because well I have to do them, so it’s nice not to be looking around and seeing everything I haven’t done. However, on the other hand they are anĀ ā€˜all the time thing’ and it’s just never-ending. I hoover the house, a couple of hours later and it’s already starting to get grubby again. I do laundry and that night I generate more, it just doesn’t stop. There’s never aĀ ā€œyes I’ve done it!ā€ point because there’s always more to do. So I don’t like that about it at all.

11) What do you think is the first thing people associate with you?
I’m not sure. I suppose it might depend on whether people meet me in person or they just know me over the internet. I’m guessing either way the answer is likely to be my anxiety. I suppose if someone met me in person it’s possible that it might be how attached I am to my iPod, or that none of my clothes fit me. I’m really not sure.
