My memory is shocking but looking at the fanfic I wrote, probably about 4 years, though I was definitely more active at times than others. It feels like a lifetime ago and it was very different from the fandom experience I’m having now with the Rumbelle fandom.

I guess it was a different time, we’re talking 10 years ago. I was a lot younger, I don’t think tumblr was a thing. It was all fansites, fanforums, livejournal and fanfiction.net back then, for me at least. Anyway, I’m going beyond the scope of the question sorry and I still haven’t named the fandom. It was – Without a Trace. I shipped Jack and Sam.

I’m not sure how many seasons the show ran for in the end because I stopped watching after the fourth season. I felt like the characterization had gone out the window, and the characters had almost turned into parody versions of themselves. I stuck around in fandom for a while after that because I did love the show and the pairing, but seeing as they didn’t even get a happy ending, I’m kinda pleased I wasn’t still mega invested at the end. From what I heard, they got back together briefly, but then spit up in the shows finale – the finale! I mean how cruel is that?
