It’s all beginning to coalesce! I have officially begun writing. Thanks for your helpful answers! I tend to write with the TV on, unless I’m visiting home, then I listen to classical music. I live in a tiny apartment and I don’t have a dedicated quiet space, so the temptation of netflix is always there, haunting me! I have been hitting girl punk music lately, lots of Avril and Kesha and Sleater-Kinney, the little of them I have anyway. I’m really passionate about Stranger Things! And some (c)

other shows like Buffy and Leverage. Nothing sits in my heart the way Rumbelle does, though. I stopped watching the show a long time ago, and at this point I’m not a fan of canon at all. I live in my happy Fanon place! 🙂 What sort of music do you listen to, Sam? And I see that you’re a writer – any jams that get your fingers flyin’? Talk to you soon! -Santa

Leverage! Oh merlin, I can rewatch that a lot. I think I’m on my 4th? complete rewatch and I only found the show a couple of years ago. It’s such a happy show to watch generally, the team are a family, the cons are interesting and the bad guys always get what they deserve. I also love the British Hustle for much the same reasons. Have you ever seen that?

Anyway, I’m thrilled that it’s all coming together for you! 🙂 I can’t write without listening to music and my music taste is … varied. Seriously I have something of almost everything on my iPod, from The Rat Pack to Linkin Park, and everything in between. When I’m writing, sometimes I’ll listen to music that fits the mood of what I’m writing. So if it’s a romance, then I’ll listen to ballads e.g. Ronan Keating. Other times I’ll listen to music to wake me up and get me going e.g. My Chemical Romance. Then sometimes I have certain artists that pick me up when I’m struggling e.g. Sick Puppies.

I like Avril sometimes, I like a couple of Kesha songs but don’t have any albums. I’ve not heard of Sleater-Kinney sorry. However, basically I love music. Silence isn’t really a thing with me. I find silence to be far more distracting than something with a regular tune which just fades into the background.

It’s really nice chatting with you Santa! I hope you have a great weekend 🙂
