Just watched The Old Guard.

Got to be honest I was drawn in by that look

(you know the one)

but while the fight scenes were excellent it wasn’t all about the battle. There was some thought-provoking stuff about immortality and the burden it can be. It’s something I’ve thought a lot about as while we all wish for more time, spending eternity losing everyone would suck.

I hope they do another one. They were certainly setting something up with those final two scenes, especially the teaser closer scene. I was a bit concerned about that possibility given … well something (#NoSpoilers) but on reflection they showed us how they could deal with that in the last act so it could work.
