Friday Night
It was my friend Vicki’s 18th yesterday and a group of us went out for a meal at Frankie and Benny’s. Speaking from the perspective of somebody who never goes out the experience was interesting. The company was great, we talked, we laughed, everything was cool. Out of the group of seven, three went on to the night club, myself and three others went off home. Naturally, it was quite late about 10.30 by the time I was driving home and I haven’t driven in the dark in a very long time, not since winter and I’d forgotten how unsettling it is with the mirrors being blank. I was fine, obviously but it was really weird.
Also, wouldn’t you expect that on a friday night at about 11pm Asda would be pretty quiet? Well it wasn’t. I mean it wasn’t packed but it was certainly busier than I expected with most aisles having at least one shopper in. So that was a little weird. I also learnt that my parallel parking difficulties get multiplied tenfold if I have to park in the dark, in the end I had to park a block away from my house as I couldn’t find a space (or a space big enough for me to get into) within the same street.
Ok random drabble over, just thought I should update. In other news I have the biggest layout block ever so I might have to put up a temporary one for my new fanlisting until it passes.
