I watched this last Tuesday and it was quite scary. It was obviously a Halloween horror special complete with a mysterious zombie death. Sid was his usual odd self with boiling a skull and having it froth with steam. When that old woman grabbed Lindsay I jumped even though I’d been able to tell that that would happen before hand. I liked how even though the sheriff dismissed her report Danny supported her completely. I wonder what’s going on with those two. I also jumped when that hand came out from the grave. Oh and I didn’t much like all those fake zombies, bit freaky for my tastes.
Mac’s 333 caller has gone quiet. He told Stella first and Flack after a weeks gone by, fits his pattern of past confidences. I do love how he always tells Stella first. That tarot lady’s eyes were scary and those 333/666 tattoos were odd although given rumors I’ve heard I think Mac should pay attention to the symbolism she mentioned about being the son of the devil sent to take souls for past mistakes or something. I wonder if he ever tested that bloody t-shirt, we never heard anymore about it. I guess it’s another thing that fell through the cracks like no-one mentioning Snow Day. Oh well.
I’m not sure what to give this. Personal preference for something a little less scary means I won’t watch it again but it was nicely done, secret passage was cool if a little clean. I’ll give it 6/10.
